for the falling snow , i just make the diffuse color to white, ambience to white also then drag that color to the color at self illumination.

for the teapot, i just use standard material, with the following parameters
ambient color - black
diffuse color - gray
self color illumination -black
specular level - 75
glossiness - 25
specular map - any rusted metal image amount of 25
bump - just copy the map and amount of specular map
reflections - choose raytrace - environment provide hdri image
provide an amount of 50
