It's a good start, with a few changes to the settings it will be a lot better though! First of all, with draft final gather you won't be seeing all the nice and detailed shadows you're expecting, it's fast to render but that's why it lacks detail, try setting it to medium, it should already be a lot better.

Furthermore you shouldn't tick the exterior daylight box, because it's not. You might need to set the diffuse bounces to 1 so it's not too bright and make some more adjustments but generally you don't want to use the exterior daylight when you have an interior scene.

Looking forward to more renders, don't forget to add some furniture to make it look more interesting!
