Guidelines & rules

Do you still remember those days when you played with Lego all the time?? I do, and a lot of EnjoyCG members as well I'm sure! A while ago Fisher decided to model some lego pieces and he built up quite a collection which are attached in this thread, inspired by those models we decided to start a new competition, with the goal of creating anything you want with Lego!

Rules & Guidelines
  • Stick to the theme, it should be easy, just make sure the main subject of your work is lego.
  • Late entries will be disqualified, so try to get your entry in on time!
  • The deadline for this competition is Monday 31 March
  • The minimum resolution for the shortest side of your final render(s) should be at least 1000 pixels, of course, more is better!
  • Multiple entries are allowed, but only one is allowed for voting which you can pick yourself, teams are not allowed.
  • You may use the lego models provided by Fisher (attached to this thread) or build your own.
  • Work In Progress renders are required, at least a few to proof that you made the scene yourself showing progress along the way.
  • It's compulsory to help other members who joined the competition by posting critique and ideas in their respective thread.
  • staff members are allowed to enter but cannot win any of the prizes.
  • Editing your image after rendering (eg. photoshop filters) is allowed, but try to keep most of your image 3d.
  • Use your own username and possibly your real name as the thread title of your entry.
Prizes

The winner of this competition will get a downloadable copy (via steam) of Half Life 2, one of the best games ever made according to critics!

Good luck, and have fun playing with lego again .
