That problem with the hole is easy to sort out mate. First if you want to be able to see the inside of the cup while your working in the Max viewports Right click on the viewport name ('
Persepective' in the top left corner of the viewport) and click '
Configure' then under rendering options check the '
Force 2-sided' box.
If you want to be able to see it when rendering just go to '
Rendering' on the top bar (Along from File, Edit, Tools etc) and click '
Renderer' in the dropdown list (Shortcut key for this is F10). Then under the '
Options' list check the '
Force 2-Sided' box again. Now you should be able to see it when rendering.
