My history, I haven't been modelling for ages because I have been studying animation. BOY! is there a lot of stuff to cover? Been doing loads of drawings and paintings anc have improved some what. Still get a bit scared but practicing takes that fear away, it's like learning lines for a play, you have to rehearse.
Anyways by a series of I would say unrelated events, but you know what? Fate plays a strange hand of poker, anyways through a series of events, I ended up in the middle of nowhere with my life. Then discovered all at once,
3DWorld Magazine, Enjoycg,
3D modelling and Computer Animation at London College of Communication and many other forums like CGSociety etc.
My life and world has never been the same since. I think the key word is
satisifaction being able to enjoy what you do and share it with others, knowing that its only a small stepping stone to what can be achieved by hard work and your imagination. At one time many people felt uncomfortable going beyond their comfort zone? But now society has changed and treats the mind like 'extreme sports', there's no fun in just watching, there's more fun getting involved and seeing what you can achieve?

I'm currently working on my end of year final project animation, it's been a long learning curve, the technology like 3DS Max,
ToonBoomStudio which has an awesome collection of animations created with its software to its name eg mimos and the egg
It'll be a while before my animations are this good but there's hope? hahahahaha anyways I've chosen my modules for my 2nd year at University and I'll be back to 3D Modelling and Animation but I wanted to say I came across some good books that I wanted to share.
Animation - From Pencil to Pixel by Tony White - Classical Techniques for Digital Animators
and Digital Lighting & Rendering, Second Edition by Jeremy Birn
both good books and worth buying
