I'm working my way through his book to improve my drawing skills in drawing cartoons, I'm having a lot of fun and I can tell it will influence the characters I will model for CG animations.

here are some of the images, some are coloured using pental colour markers and others using water colour

They are looking good! The man on the last picture immediately reminded me of Guybrush Threepwood from monkey island...
Keep going

ExTaz , I was the I was the same when I joined enjoycg, with all the encouragement I got from here and from reading what makes a really good cg artist, I decided to be able to model whatever i wanted was limited by what I could draw or develop from my imagination. just start from anywhere

Extaz - Bro, let me tell you this, take the extra drawing classes, you've no idea how many jobs out there are available to you if you have hard and soft skills.

Hard skills are technical skills that use computing technology

Soft skills are skills that are like clay modeling, drawing and painting.

Being able to work in a creative environment will make you a much happier person, will boost your self confidence, but best of all encourage you to be around positive minded individuals who want to express their creativity.

It might be unfair to say this but unless you can draw, and you don't have to draw well just be confident at drawing, if you are confident then you can sketch down all those amazing ideas you come up with and share them with lots of other people.

If people didn't write their or draw their stories down we wouldn't have

- books
- art
- cartoons
- computer animation
- films
- cars
- houses
- airplanes
- ships

you get the idea, they all start with a drawing, so take that extra art class you will never ever regret it for the rest of your life, but if you don't take it, you'll spend the rest of your life wondering what would have happened if you had.
