| Candle flame + 3ds Max Hi, I'm trying to make a render using Vray of a stained glass "lamp" (I'm using a candle instead of a bulb). I just can't make my candle light look real. I've been struggling with this for more than a week.... HELP!!!! Does anyone know how to make a candle flame? Or candle light? Thanks, Pia |

| Re: Candle flame + 3ds Max I've done a tutorial on it, but it focuses on the actual candle material with sub surface scattering, Not the flame part. I added it in photoshop with an image, look just as well for a still image. If the candle is surrounded by stained glass I can imagine the materials and look of that have a large influence on the result too, maybe you could post a render of what you've got so far, and possibly a picture of what you're after. |
