movin vertices

hi

uh .. is there any quick way to align "scattered" vertices ???
like i want all of them on z=0, is there any other way than selecting every single one of them and move them sperately ????

yes, there is in "Editable Poly" (not sure about the other "Editable [insert name]" )
under the "Editable Geometry"
right next the [Make Planar] button, there's [X], [Y] & [Z],
it will average out the selected verts, and place them all in the same pressed alignment.

btw ... is there any way i can align the mirror center precisely ?? right now i cant type anything in the transform boxes
and, ive seen ppl having a little cube in the viewports .. any chance i can get that in max 9 ???

what mirror? the Mirror modifier?

yep the mirror modifier .. i cant enter coordinates for the mirror center

go to the Modifier stack, click on the dark [+] sign, and click on the Mirror Center click on your Transform Tool (or just press W)
Click on that Gizmo thingy, (the yellow things with the arrows pointing in two directions)
Then you can enter the XYZ coordinates at the bottom

that is weird, it should work.... can you post a screenshot, while your trying to do that?

weird, for some reason it does work now, but if encounter that problem again ill post the screenshot
