lighting

the lighting i refered to was like the small ones on the picture attached. how is that type of lighting achieved? prefrabally using vray image link http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i1...av_bedroom.jpg

hmm i think IES lights are used for that, i'm not sure if you can use them with vray though, here's a usefull tutorial describing it in 3ds max with vray.

as i saw the image, the lights used were Photometric and using web instead of isotropic (?) they used IES file for the downlights. but there is an alternative to this by using multiple free point light sources to imitate the web distribution of the halogen downlights..hope this helps
