Simpe "logo"

Just a simply logo for an online gaming team. Really I am just learning things right now so any constructive criticism to help on future projects is highly welcome. The most annoying thing was setting the level on the next, it's still off a little .

Looks quite good, i'm not sure what you mean by 'setting the level', could you elaborate a bit? The easiest improvement would be a chamfer. Just add an additional edit poly modifier to the text, select all the edges and chamfer them by a small amount, now the light will bounce of those edges, creating a far more realistic end result, really! The lighting could still be improved a little, because there's a bit of noise there on the floor.

I'm guessing the word level has its pivot in the middle. If you moved the pivot to the bottom, right hand edge of the last letter 'L', you could then drop the object to the ground by setting the y position to 0 and simply rotate about its pivot until it touched the word next.
As Jelmer says, chamfering would help a lot towards realism. Nice

Thanks I meant setting the word "Level" on top of the word next. The problem was I had moved the words independently and got one of the axis off, as you can see, it is touching at the rear, but the forward most edge is just barely off.

ahh alright, now i get it! moving the pivot point could make things easier, also look into the different ways of rotating objects, eg. viewport - local - gimbal .
