My first real max model (a dragon) Hello everybody! I began working with 3dsm a short while ago and I wanted to show my first real model, it's an assignment from school. I would like to know what you think about it, what is good and what can be improved? ![]() Last edited by geldslaw; 23rd May 2007 at 02:52 PM.

I think the castle makes the scene look strange, recheck your proportions, if you were trying to make the dragon seem bigger, imagine a person and the scale of the stuff around him, it makes the castle look small. Also, lighting could use some improvment, are you going for a night scene?

Thanks for the really fast answers! And yes as daklol said, my intentions were to make a night scene with moonlight and some light from the torches. Anyone know any way to make the fire look more realistic by the way? I made them using pArray, is there a better way?

good job.... thou i think the door makes the scale of the casle look a tad small those torches could use some down-sizing if you want the scale of the castle look big... about the fire... i'd think you'd better do that in post.. in photoshop or if you have a plug-in like Fume FX or Afterburn anyway.. looks good.. good model too
