lighting challenge - christmas tree

Ok its near Xmas, here's a challenge to everyone, cos I'm moving into the lght fantastic zone. How about I challenge you to do a Christmas scene? may be a close of of an Xmas tree with a few glittering 'gold ball's hahahaha and some xmas lights of your choice.

I figured where i was going wrong on lightig up my watch, logarithmic exposure control, brighteness was to high and washing everything out.

anways, the challenge is only a suggestion but gives me a cause for being motivated to do something interesting. what do you lot think?

man this is like cooking with lights, its the only analogy I can think of that relates to something else that I'm really good at, but this time there's a little too much of something and something is missing

it's a good idea, but very complex to do, I would start with something easier to do, like only the christmas tree balls, maybe with one small branch.
If you really want to achieve a good result, start out simple.
When it works out wel you could go further and do the whole tree.

when i'm finished doingmy damn geography coursework i'll make a scene of a few balls (*snigger*) and maybe some light on the floor.

And also instread of making this just a lighting challenge you should make the shaders aswell so you can improver your shader making skills

its not going to be a proper tree, just a few ornaments on the floor. just something simple to make look as realistic as possible.

i'll be making it when i get home.
