terian renders

im working on making good looking terian not that great but its my first work.

welcome to the forums, that's pretty good for your first 3ds max efforts!
There are still many things which you can improve though:

Adding realism to the terrain, by adding another noise modifier, set to fractal, at a smaller scale, you can add some more small details to make it look rock like.

The texture base you have is ok, but it looks very low res and blurry, try to adjust the scale, and also add a bump map!
Your water needs reflections, at the moment you only have specular set, which is ok but fairly unrealistic.

To improve the general look of it, i would get rid of your name there, or change it, the standard bevel and emboss looks very unprofessional.
Instead use a more simple lettertype, maybe add a very slight drop shadow, that would look a lot better!

You could try the Terrain tutorial if you haven't already, to make the result more realistic.

me like, I'm well inspired by your first attempt and will be trying some of the lanscaping tutorials to go witht he castle tutorial,

yeah Ive already watched your tutorial it was a little blurry so i didnt see alot of the tools you used thanks for the input tho.
