Bag End - Hobbit house

Hello

I have to abbadon my mosque project. I don't have enough skill to make good looking one. I hope I will be able to finish this in the future.
I decided to make something easier. When i was looking for some inspiration in the internet, I found this picture:
rel="Lightbox"?s=bd97d5409d1686f25a99258288a48335&attachmentid=2310&thumb=1&d=1197155380" class="thumbnail" border="0" alt="Click image for larger version Name: HobbitHouseInside.jpg Views: 100 Size: 111.7 KB ID: 2310" style="margin: 2px" />

I want to make something similar, this will be hard for such noob like me but I give it a try
Here are my first render (I using Vray):

rel="Lightbox"?s=bd97d5409d1686f25a99258288a48335&attachmentid=2311&thumb=1&d=1197155774" class="thumbnail" border="0" alt="Click image for larger version Name: hobo4.jpg Views: 78 Size: 168.3 KB ID: 2311" style="margin: 2px" />
rel="Lightbox"?s=bd97d5409d1686f25a99258288a48335&attachmentid=2312&thumb=1&d=1197155774" class="thumbnail" border="0" alt="Click image for larger version Name: hobo3.jpg Views: 55 Size: 155.1 KB ID: 2312" style="margin: 2px" />

I have to add more details (some models are not finished).

I'm waiting for your comments

Looking good and clean. Reminds me of the film and book I read a long time ago, I'm really looking forward to see this finished!

Re: Bag End - Hobbit house

Thx for comments

It's true, I'm impatient and very lazy but I hope that I will make this hobbit nest to the end
It's really too clean, that's why it looks unrealistic
I working to make this bit more realistic, here is new render:
rel="Lightbox"?s=bd97d5409d1686f25a99258288a48335&attachmentid=2324&thumb=1&d=1197306493" class="thumbnail" border="0" alt="Click image for larger version Name: hobo5.jpg Views: 41 Size: 184.5 KB ID: 2324" style="margin: 2px" />

If u have any idea how to make this more realistic, please help me

btw. sorry for my weird english, becouse of my laziness I was sleeping on english lessons

Re: Bag End - Hobbit house

mmm, first of all,, i like it cool idea i think,,) i would change the camera,, now it looks small,, maybe when the hall would be more longer and the camera more far from the door it would be looking better)also maybe more little things in the room, something on walls and so

Re: Bag End - Hobbit house

TE_, I think it would be easy to achieve that by just changing the field of view, set it to 30mm and it will look "longer". You could do the dirty work with textures, that would make it a lot more realistic. Also remember you can adjust reflections to make them imperfect with bitmaps. Keep going and invest some time in texturing!

Some of the wooden construction beams in your model could be rounder, comparing with the reference material.

Re: Bag End - Hobbit house

Thanks for advices, it's really helpful
I changed the camera, room seems to be a bit longer now. I added chair, broom, chandelier and plant
rel="Lightbox"?s=bd97d5409d1686f25a99258288a48335&attachmentid=2331&thumb=1&d=1197398982" class="thumbnail" border="0" alt="Click image for larger version Name: hobo11.jpg Views: 62 Size: 213.0 KB ID: 2331" style="margin: 2px" />

I'm afraid of texturing, I always have problems with this part but I think I will finish whole sceen at monday.
