The first thing I noticed was that all the tables are set for 2 people, which isnt always the case when going to a restaurant, maybe join some tables to get some irregularity. There are way to many steps heading from one level to the next. Try measuring some steps as a referance for dimensions Good concept though, keep at it Last edited by Bundie; 19th June 2008 at 07:13 AM.

Its a good start , Bundie is right though too many steps , a rough real world guide is 240 mm long with a rise of around 170 mm. thats what i worked on when doing my house plan , anything close to that will look right in your scene. What about some wine bottles and glasses on the tables, maybe a menu . good luck , stick with Enjoy CG its a friendly community that caters for beginners and advanced users equally. I highly recomend watching TE's arch vis tutorial and also section 1's tutorials.

good attempt at interior designing, nice work with the different types of lighting. you're off to a good start and the advice by the others is well given. I think you have enough skill to be able to jump to an even more elaborate design. Do a similiar thing but make it more spacious, use railing wall to seperate the levels, make three of the walls glass, and sue mr sun system for day time shots and ceiling, walls and lamps for a night time shot. look up some references to find particular ideas as well, using references is an approach used by amateurs and professionals alike but have fun, nice work so far, keep it up ![]()

much better altough i suggest to enlarge the room, this way you are going to have more space for the tables, i suggest you put to long tables at the back of the room and smaller tebles as you come near to the camera. i like a lot the light setup those lamp styles are awsome. keep it on! (go italy!!!! although spain is surely going to cick are ass)

I think you mean the gizmo. Ive lost that a few times aswell. Must be a keyboard shortcut that switches it on and off, but I dont know what it is. The long way of doing it is go to Customize, Preferences and look under the Gizmos tab there should be an ON checkbox. The changes you made are looking good, keep it up and the stairs are looking much more belivable ![]()
