Guitar Hero 3 guitar

Hey guys,
been looking at the sight for the last week and started doign some of my own stuff. I have a little bit of experience with 3ds max 9 as i have been using it at Uni a bit. i'm not that great at it thats why i thought i would train my self up before next year starts and i can get a head start in the course. anyway my first attempt here is the les paul guitar from Guitar hero 3. its just laying round my room so thought it might be fun to model.

Textures obviously need sorting and there are still bits to add but im goign hoem for the weekend and thought u guys might leave some tips and suggestions for me to resume my work on monday.

so yea any suggestions on how to go about adding things like moddifeirs i should be using please feel free to rip it apart

thanks guys

Good start, you seem to haver the basic shape all set down. Maybe chamfer the edges on the neck and buttons because theyre very harsh edges at the moment. Of course textures need to be aded but you said yu would do those Keep going !

Can we see a different angle than the 'straight on' look for the body - just to get a clear view of the profile of the buttons on the body and neck area. Or maybe even a wire render? It's kind of hard to see definition with the plain black body and the direct angle. textures (echo!)... of course. im not a guitar hero guy but i think i recall seeing green, blue, yellow, and red buttons somewhere - on the neck? and do they come with whammy bars? one last thing - on the neck, are there frets (raised parts) to make it look like a real guitar? i thought i recall there being frets.... im not too sure though - the only time im ever around guitar hero is when there is an ample amount of booze floating around.

you know what id like to see? Prince's weird purple guitar in a plastic, miniature, guitar-heroized form. LOL now THAT would be somethin. hahahaha google it... the prince guitar. ok ok ok enough rambles. later dude
