Scene-Small Scifi Scene WIP

Hello im Mikhail and i am stuck a little in this project...

this is how my scene looks so far.( the lighting needs to change i little)



ANy tips for the scene???(effects ... tutorials... ANYTHING... i use 3ds Max9)

also i am planning to add a ship flying by...

in the middle there is grass ... which you cant really see... thats why the lighting need to change

maybe add some dirt around the scene?
push the door back in? lol
add some reflections in the window?
Hinges on the door?

Is that a wall or is that like the open sea in the background?

I think the first thing we should know to give you good feedback is in which time you want to settle it and how it is going on in this time.
Do you want to have a clean look like in mirrors edge, a "normal" look like now but in a futuristic environment or a end time environment like in fallout?
I´ll make some photos from a door around the corner (not now it´s to dark at this daytime ^^) there you can see how it looks when a door needs a bit of special magic to be opened or a kick it has the profiles of shoes that hit it weeks ago and the dirt is fading away.

the corners on the pavement are a little too hard for me
try chamfering them to make more of a realistic look

Wow i completly did forget about dirt.. and yes the pavment looks unrealistic...

(here is some progress before your advice...)




I will go and work on it... I know that the pipes look cheesy.. but that material was wiped up in a mater of minutes...

Okay... i will make the window more reflective..

That is an open sea.

Well well Here IS SOME MAJOR progress with my scene...

Took around 1 hour to render...



I chamfered the edges and i also added dirt on the left... For some reason the dirt was rendered green???

Probably because of the blue lights. It's allright, that is how it should look when there are bright blue lights around (you will notice even the concrete surfaces look blueish). Scene looks very nice so far :]
