Electric guitar

Im working on this electric guitar and i have encountered a setback which isnt that much of a problem but shore does make everything uglier...

I have a question!
How to connect vertices?....
i want to connect the peghead to the neck...

EDIT: I think im done now.... and now for the texturing part...

the base shape is there, are you using any reference, i don't know much about guitars, so to me it looks ok so far, just keep adding more parts and details!

btw, i wouldn't connect those two because it won't help you, it's not necessary to connect to objects perfectly, it doesn't matter if they intersect each other either, it will only take more time to connect them together so i'd leave them like as is.

but theres a thing that a peghead and the neck are ONE... not different pieces of wood glued together... i want to make a smooth crossover from one to another... makes it more credible

ah ok, if that's the case, make 2 holes, one in the peghead and one in the neck, then use 'target weld' to put everything together, should be fairly simple.

it is going to be a little more hard than that because you dont have any edges on the guitar itself, to weld something together, you need to have the same verts or close to it, or you could make a bunch of triangles and weld, but as you said, to make it more creditable you need a smooth mesh and mostly quads.

I think Jelmer means to make a hole on each mesh were you connecting them just, delete the polys there. Connect the meshes and the use target weld on the corresponding verts. Let me know if you need more details on exactly how to do it.

Why do you think because it will be harder to texture or because the hole's verts will have to correspond to each other?
