the chair i made\am making lol...

ok here is the chair i was making for the comp (i found out about it on the 30th ) lol...

all good.

i am having huge texturing probs...


any ideas...

it is prety basic...

i am a absolute noob with 3dstudio... this is my second real project...

**EDIT**
the textures don't look right...
mostly the chrome.
could it be the eviro?

i added a clay render... of the frame no "cussion"

Yes the chrome looks like that because it is reflecting nearly nothing. I had the same look in the chair I submitted. Hey btw, good job on your second "real project"!

nice,, it looks to me like a garden chair =),, your second project? respect ,, hmm,, the lighting is also little stragne,,, try to use mental ray,, and maybe look on Jelmer tutorial about this,, good luck with this,,,

yeah, try adding an HDRI map to the environment to make the reflections look better, a plane beneath the chair would be nice as well to get some shadows on a floor surface.

that sucks... hopefully you can still find it, i know it's a bit long ago but if you add a HDRI map it will look great.
