Low Poly anime characters

these were done for the manga anime society, they're templates, I'll be changing the hair styles and skin colouring to match the different members of the society.

The idea is to make a collection and call it 'Class of 2007',

they sure seem to have a sunny diposition...

funny characters i might say. i like how you made the clothes of the first one, why didnt you do it the same way for the other one, those arms are coming out of the "cap" of the cone/silinder... and i think there is something wrong with her hands aswell.
none the less, i like it. i think now i'll try drawing an anime character...

yep the arm coming out of the cap was deliberate, the other character had the cap receded because he had sleaves that folded over. I'm basically feeling my way around with chracter development, and creating characters that tell stories from just their appearance.

Most CG characters are not altruistically beautiful, they're funny and dumb founded or befuddled. More hilliarity milage was gained from Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and Pluto because of their simplicity.

More people know about Homer and Bart Simpson than they do about superman. Superman is a religious synonym, where as bart is a little bast... well you get what I mean. lol

let me know hwo you get on with your anime drawing?

lol, the second one looks really funny, although the hair, (it is hair, isn't it?) does look a bit static. The first model is well done too, keep at it!
