Watching Grass Grow...

Here are some efforts at some grass.

I have done two renders of the same file to see if it keeps it's grass-like look from differnt angles.

I am still playing with it, so it isn't picture perfect just yet.

Will post when it is finished.

looks pretty good, i preffer the second render, the first one looks a bit too saturated i think, what technique did you use to make/place the grass anyway?

Yes, I think that the grass I have made is not really meant for ground close-ups. I will have to come up with a better design I think.

Well, first I used the Ornatrix plug-in. I tried different things and came up with a result.

Now I am duplicating that result with out the use of plug-ins, as I really try to do as much with out the use of plug-ins (although it is sometimes impossible).

looks good to me, there are as many different varieties of grass as there are plants, I love desert grass, that springs up withing minutes of it raining and disappears just as fast

ya i tried that once but it took so ling to render
and the second one looks better than the first but good job
the first has al little to much white i think
