| you could delete the polygons on the right side of the door, then select the ones on the left and copy - paste, should work fine, once you have the right side in position as well weld them together. One thing you need to change though, you're talking about a game design class, but you're wasting many, many polygons. one flat surface only needs one or two polygons, but you're using a lot mroe then that. Other then that i like it though, keep going! |

| smoothing isn't really necessary on most parts, when you're close to finished with modeling an individual part i would just apply a new edit poly modifier (so you can still turn that new modifier on and off, keeping your model non destructible) and then chamfer all the sharp edges with a small amount. This will make your final result far more realistic, another thing you should keep in mind is to add some imperfections, nothing is completely straight in reality so apply some subtle noise from time to time, or move some vertices of a little bit. |

| hey i was wondering how u where thinking about doing the side shingleings... are u gust gunna bump map em? or actualy moddle em? and it's looking pritty good!! hehe and also are u trying to avoid the inside of the details of the arch... Maybe also just bump map them in.... keep it up! |
