Cool! it has quite a cartoony look to it though, not sure if that was intentional. The smoke does look a bit strange, mainly because the particles suddenly dissappear, which is not very natural for smoke i think, you would expect the opacity to fade gradually, so how do you do that? It's pretty simple, you can use a particle age material for example to slowly fade the particle material opacity for example.

Looks nice but it looks a bit more like smoke coming from a fire rather than exhaust gases from a missile. I like the cartoony look Jelmer mentioned though. I can picture little puffs of that smoke coming from a cartoon car.

yeah thats cool........the smoke is a bit weird, should fade away a least a little slower, kinda fade away into the darkness....and it does have that cartoon missle look....i think thats kinda cool....keep in mind that depending on how fast the rocket is moving the some and fire will act differently... look up missles or rockets in action, vids of course.....to get some good reference...........mainly for how the smoke will react....

It's lookinf pretty rad IMO. Looking forward to see it in action on a scene, but so far it's working great. I would agree with the comment about the smoke dissapearing so suddenly.

BTW, what kind of particle material are you using for the smoke? Is it a map using the 'facing' option? Or is it something else?
