looks like an interesting start, the character does need some work, and so does the lighting (especially in the last render) i'm really digging the 4th render you've got there, keep going! If you need any specific help just ask, but don't forget to provide some settings.

Please do not use UPPERCASE letters the next time you're posting.

cool work, you've chosen an awsome project there, wicked. My only commnet is looking at pete in his spideraman wrestling suit, his arm, from shoulder to elbow appears to be short.

A good guide is if you standup and let your arsm fall to your sides, you can see your elbow finishes around your hips and the wrist is aligned with your crutch.

It could be the camera angle, but wicked work so far.

Thanks guys,

I'll chek the arm, you're maybe right about it and here this is my doc octopus model, okay, LOL I knoe its me too, but I do all that to have the pleasure to play with myself in 3D animation movie.
As you can see the face has no texture yet and I hidden the hair because I had some crash with my computer. BUT... I'll fix it up soon.
Pat.

i think your work so far is awsome, even though I use the technology myself I am amazed at seeing the technology being used to help people realise they're dreams. I used to be and I still am impressed with marvel comic drawings done by my friends.

But now to see you creating your own animation, even though I think I know how its done, its still very impressive and exciting. lol keep posting, I'm enjoying them.

Hi guys,
I used both, LOW AND HIGH POLY.
The face is something like medium to high and the body is low, but I added a meshsmooth to it. for the tentacles, I started with very detailed pieces but my scene was to big and I decided to reproduce it with an extruded spline and and I added a normal map for details... My tentacles are rigged and skinned, it works well.

JUST TO SAY IF IT CAN BE HELPFULL FOR OTHERS I MADE A IK SPLINE(ASSIGN TO CHILDREN) EACH VERTEBRES HAVE BEEN LINKED TO EACH BONE WITH NO SKIN MODIFIER AND I USED A PHISIQUE MODIFIER FOR EACH CYLENDER, IT WORKS BETTER THAN A SKIN MODIFIER AND LIKE THAT WHEN YOU MOVE YOUR SPLINE, EACH VERTEBRE FOLLOW HIS OWN BONE WITHOUT DEFORMING. BUT FOR THE CYLENDER YOU HAVE TO SUBDIVISE INTO 50 EDGES TO GET FLUIDE.
THANKS TO ALL.

spiderman 3D

Hi all,
Here its some samples of many environements I want to use for my scenes, some kind of NYC background. no one is finished yet because I'm trying to do everything and sometimes I'm losing myself in my job, so now I have to focus on my characters first then after I'll do the environnement better look. I'm just affraid to have not enough memory for all that, but I'm trying to fix problems one by one LOL.
THANKS TO EVERYBODY FOR ALLL YOUR COMMENT, THEY GIVES ME POWER TO GOING ON.
THANKS.
Pat.

Cool, I like the buildings a lot, and the lighting in the first render is well done too. I'm not sure of the scene scale at the second render, the truck might be a bit to large, not sure... just remember scene scale is an important factor with such a large project, but you're making lots of progress, keep going!
One more suggestions, once you have the city done you should certainly add some sort of depth to increase realism, you could do it with fog in max, but it might be faster to do it in post production by using a zdepth map.

sorry for bothering you again, but please don't use UPPERCASE sentences, it's ok for a few words, but not too much. Also remember you can emphasize certain words or sentences by using the 'bold' button.
