I get the point with te scale, as I already was aware of that.
I'll upload the tweaked results on imageshack to get a better view.
Now, thx for the animation Drag00nSlayer, I had to laugh, it's funny.

I understand what you say but what if the client doesn't want
anything in the background. What if it has to be a studio-like photo?
Any advice 4 this?
thk u all

Thank's for the laugh

Another thing that you can try
Maybe find a better wood texture that shows more grain texture

This one is one i made ( I don't really like it anymore. And it's nothing compared to your's )

But in this picture you can see what i mean by grain size

But in regard to what client wants

If they only want a model they will usaly be able to show some scale with how it's published or whatever they do with it

Defiantly if it's for a game

Magazine they almost always tell the dimension of the object
in the text

But in the furniture i made i had no reference to scale either

Stuff tagged with xchaosdragon666x is the stuff I made

( yes my stuff sucks but what can i say It was modeled in MilkShape and later rendered in max so control's were just not as tight in milk so hard to arrange things IMO)
