Finally someone else entering, what are you waiting for guys? :P Yeah something seems to be wrong with the thumbnail, I'll look into it. Looking forward to some more wip's, it will be a challenge to do that avalanche I'm sure!

Re: killoskate(MikhailLifirenko)

could you explain this for me a little? is there a guy trapped under the snow or something? or is he just about to get covered?

Question Re: killoskate(MikhailLifirenko)

Sorry for not explaining... the first sketch is a guy climbing a big ice berg/mountain. the all of the sudden an avalanche appears...

Okay after looking more into the competition i decided the first one is not really into winter survival so here is another sketch.

please tell me which one is a better idea...

REMEMBER DO NOT be shy to criticize. i wanna know.

since the other sketch was to big so i win zipped this one. i think from now on i will upload through photobucket.

well i am new to this website. so i don't know how everything works over here. i am originally from 3dm3. killoskate13 so ... i'll get used to it.

and please any body know any good tutorials for trees?

Re: killoskate(MikhailLifirenko)

I couldn't open your first sketch. I like the second one ... could make that situation look very grim.

Re: killoskate(MikhailLifirenko)

It looks like your approach is a bit like mine ... throw a few ideas around, see how it looks, maybe something comes together. I'm wondering about the circles in the snow - like light circles ... I'm curious where that comes from. It looks like a lens flare effect, but there rest of the lens flare effects aren't visible.
