free? I think "you get what you pay for" applies to web hosting unfortunately, if you don't invest in it you won't get much. A domain (.com) will always cost something, about $10 usd per year, which is worth it in my opinion, I mean it's just 10 dollars, you can't do too much with it anyway.

Then you still need hosting, I think there are some free hosting services which are ok for basic sites (a portfolio site is pretty basic) so you could look into that.

since i am building my own website finally,i was learning html and stuff and i figured something out wid ur dummy website above: news, gallery, about and contact dont have underline even though they are there in css.i think u missed semicolons after these elements in css file...
