Hey great tutorial, I wonder could you add an alphamap in the render elements dialog box when you render then use that map in PS (inverted) to mask the backround thru? you could then erase or edit what you need too off the mask in PS?

thanks for downloading my tutorial, I know practically nothing about photoshop so i would advise asking that question in the photoshop forum and refrencing my tutorial. Good luck!

That shouldn't be a probelm kidlizard, I think there's a setting in the matte/shadow material to add the shadows to the alpha map. just press f10 and add the alpha render element and you can use it to mask of the diffuse map and shadows.
