looking pretty good, regarding the textures, and scale of them, maybe you should decrease the tiling a little bit. The wood textures on the ladders need to be adjusted, try to change them so you don't get those nasty black seams, try rotating the uvmap a bit and see what happens. The model looks fine.
Another thing you should change i think is the terrain texture. In the second render the grass is way too big, i mean really way too big compared to the castle, adjust the tiling or use another texture. The noise map looks pretty good but the white and black part doesn't have texture yet, try to add some rock type texture there.
Keep going, you're doing fine, certainly for a user new to 3ds max.
another thing i spotted: you might want to adjust the scale of the wall a bit, i think it's a bit too high compared to the protective structure on tip, hmm try googling for some real castles that should help you... unfortunately i didn't do that in the tutorial which i regret afterwards but can't change that now, because the proportions i used in the tut aren't great for realism. The gate also looks a tad high to me.
Another note for the terrain: try to make a path from the castle entrance to increase the amount of realism.

thanks, i'll do a short tutorial soon, motammad, maybe it's the amount of RAM you have, but i can't be sure, if you want to upgrade anything in your computer you should certainly double the RAM, that might help...

Your graphics card and and RAM are lagging far behind your processor.

When selecting your Texture. do it using bitmap in Material Editor

First select a new slot
-click the little square next to "diffuse"
-select Bitmap from your menu and you will get a "load file" box
-select the texture you want and it will add it to your new material

Dont forget to set a UVW Map modifier ( for the walls select "Box" ) before you apply the texture so it looks accurate.

Just made this for you. hope it helps =)
