adjust the amount for the bumps, then go to modifier list and look for mapscaler or uvwmapping.

On step #10 it's written

"unhide and select your camera, and click modify then enable some parameters."

Can i know what parameters you turned on ??

Because I almost have the right effects at the end but i'm not sure about this step!

thanks in advance !

I didn't do this tutorial myself, but see every tutorial as a guide on how to achieve things. If you got it looking right to you then don't have to search for things the writer did different.
But to clear this up let's have a look at this point again.

Now right click on the particles and go to object properties. On the general option, go to motion blur and enabled it. Then select image. make a render. Or choose object, whichever is fiited to your preference. So you now see the difference between object motion blur and object motion blur. which is which- its your choice which one make you feel is good for you.

Motion Blur then make a test render how it looks.

Or motionblur with pass blending

Or activate Pass Blending with dither strenght say .2 or .2.
I think the last 3 sentences tell you what he checked to get this effect.
enable Multipass Effect and select motion blur. Afterwards have a play with your values for this.

/edit:
Have a look at the last post on the first page ;-)

nice works harshani, for the number of particles, you may adjust it on percentage of particles and Use rate of particles- say 5000 for the use rate and 100% for the percentage.
