| UVW mapping - M82A1 sniper rifle continuation Hi, After a year of waiting, I found some free time for you and create this tutorial on UVW mapping. This isn't a how-to-make-ultra-realistic-textures tutorial but it's a guide how to develop your skills and some start points for you. In this tutorial I show you how to make your own textures in easy way. These are basic textures if you want to achieve stunning renders then you will have to improve them yourself by adding lots of details. Some materials are created for Vray as I use this render engine, but it's really easy to apply it on any other renderer. GOOD LUCK! Here are the parts: Start folder - referential photos, textures created by me, scenes Part 1 - texturing upper reciever - basics on creating textures in Photoshop, how to unwrap UVW Part 2 - continuation of Part 1 Part 3 - texturing lower reciever and small parts Part 4 - texturing grip, displace maps Part 5 - texturing scope, advanced UVW mapping techniques If you have any problems please ask a question in this thread or PM me. | sorry to say this but only the first link (the start folder reference photos textures ) works .... as for the other links they don't work everytime i click on them i get this message The page you tried was not found. You may have used an outdated link or may have typed the address (URL) incorrectly. If you think this link should be corrected you can report the problem by contacting us.
