hey thanx alot for this tutoreial TE_
if there is one thing to improve in ur tutorials it would be the sound quality its just so hard to hear what your saying
and also since this was intended to be for total newbs like me
u could have said why you did certain things instead of just doing them

well all in all its one of the best tutorials i followed i give it 9.5/10

i attached my final render which took more than 30 mins (rendering time ) !!!!
is that normal ? i have an intel centrino duo 1.8 and 1 gb of ram

and also it wasnt by mental ray because if i rendered the room using it it would just be a black pic with some gray in it

and i had to put another light to see the wall and the window
and i was wondering is that ok or should the lighting u did be enough to show everything ?

hi 3dsmaxnewbe), iam really sorry for the sound quality, i dont know why it is so bad , aynway.

about the render time iam not sure, by me it was more, but i have an old comp), it can be the 30min by u). Post here the render setting in mental ray and the scene with light setup, maybe i will see why u picture is black then.

anyway, iam glad that u liked, hope u learned something from the modeling part

Super Tutorial

Thanks again for the Living room tutorial, how come mine doesnt look like TE_'s.
haha.

What sort of tips can you offer, if any, to help me increase realism, also how do I work the camera to get the whole shot into the framework.

I really have to tell you how greatly I appreciate this web site and all the help it offers.

Would anyone like to see what I came up after I did the tut?

By the way what's all this HDRI stuff.

Meini
