Thanks for the tut on the chair.

This is almost embarrasing but I cant get my chair, or anything else for that matter, to take on any light.??
I even through a bunch of mr omni lights into the scene and still its dark.
Any ideas?

hmm that's odd, did you assign the mental ray renderer?? maybe posting your lighting and render settings here would help.

hi, nice tutorial jelmer, but how did you get the final render so white? my renders look oki, but the surroundings are grey and not a bright white? i used two target directional lights and renderered with vray, i just dont understand how to get the studio esque whiteness? increasing the attenuation doesnt work, can somebody help me out.
