Autodesk® invites you to a special evening with Epic Games. Chris Wells is a character artist at Epic Games and he will be taking us through the process that they use at Epic, from concept to creation. Chris will share some tips and tricks they use to create art assets for next-generation games and you will get an insight into the upcoming Unreal Tournament 3.

Chris has been with Epic for two years now as a character artist. His most recent project was Gears of War and he is currently working on Unreal Tournament 3. Chris has over eight years of experience in the Games industry. He actually started at Ubisoft's Redstorm Entertainment working on Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six Series and also spent some time at Ubisoft Paris.

man, you're lucky, all the CG events that happen seem to be in London! well, many of them at least, another important event which is coming up is siggraph, which is in the US.

I've promised myself that I'll be going to the sisgraph next year, i did say to you if you wanted to come over you could and you could always have a place to stay.

I think its because of the number of CGI studios in London, but that does mean there's loads of room for other countries to develop their own animation industries.

Funny enough, I just watched 'The Adventures of Boo & Zino', which was an animation put together by dutch studio
