Re: Double Neck Guitar

modeling is great but the textures could use some work, maybe a little gloss on the white part? there is also a line going across is on the top left rounded edge. is that a mesh error or just a reflection?

Re: Double Neck Guitar

nice piece of work, should be proud of such a good attempt but I agree some attention should be given to texturing. Did you work from a reference?

At the start of my modelling days I would always get asked if I used references and in some ways I would get annoyed because I thought I was doing pretty well showing of what my imagination could come up with.

but over time, learning from othere's I have discovered that the very best, the elite, all would no matter how long they have been in the business would invest a certain amount of time doing research.

Your level of research guarantees the success and the quality of your final finished product, there's nothing more dissatisfacory than putting in a lot of effort in vain because you did not have a strong foundation of research upon from which you could allow your concept for your product to grow from.

hope that helps? keep up the good work and we're looking forward to seeing some progress
