Talking FREEBIE Low poly (game ready [i think]) Model

Spent a lot of time on this (mostly due to texturing and my comp running out of memory in my photo editor (4096x4096 does that to you))

Thanks to Ninja Hanzo and Stepheal for helping me bake the lights

Well i am Giving away my plasma genorator free at turbosquid LINK

Looks good, but you don't need all those polys on the bottom. I know you need them all for the red part at the bottom but where you have it textured green on the bottom. All those skinny rectangles aren't needed since it stays straight.

In order to keep it all quads I couldn’t find a good way to optimize that area without it just being messy or saving more than 2 or 3 polys on each side, that and it doesn’t take up many polys (the model itself is only 1860 in total ) I would save more polygons if I removed the extrusions for the lights. Also the base gives you some room to work (maybe you want to bubble it out)

You wont need to keep everything quads. If you want to work on in zbrush with your model quads are great but if you do a static object for a game you may have as much tris as you wish. The exported mesh will be tris anyway.
