Domino's....Round 2

I know it's been a while since I've posted anything on this project and I apologise - I didn't abandon it! I've decided it's as far as it's going to get so I think it is finished. I'm happy with the results and lemme add.... if anyone representing the Domino's Pizza marketing department is reading this... consider me!

Ok! So after the long awaited (for me) and promised revision, I bring to you my Domino's Pizza commercial! Please download the movie from the link provided for a better quality version than what you see on youtube! Thanks!

"The Best dinner ever invented. EVER!" hahaha I like it! I can easily picture this as a tv commercial. Some things you say doesn't sound very natural though hard to explain what exactly, hopefully someone else can.

pay no attention to the man behind the microphone.

I didn't have access to the "movie announcer guy" or the "lets get ready to rumble" guy... so i had to make due with my own... and im sure it doesnt help recording with a headset microphone! lol

thanks for the comments dude! mucho appriciato.

Well for what it is it does sound real good, Even without any professional doing it. I'm still getting a kick out of the phrase "The Best dinner ever invented. EVER!" haha

Nice work Fisher!

I had a 'run-in' with Domino's on the one and only time I've ever used them, so 0/10 for the company.

Pizzas? Yeah cool....10/10.

Your animation? Yeah cool too.....9/10.
Why 9?
Well you lost a point for having the spots on BOTH sides of the dominoes.....quite literally gives the game away. Sounds picky I know but it's a bit of an oversight no?

Other than that yeah great....even the 'voiceover'....LOL.

Regards.

Haha love the voice Gives it an extra touch :P

Well animated aswell, cant really see any flaws with that. This is just me and MrTom being picky but maybe you could have put different numbers on the dominoes, it wouldnt be too hard and it would make it look a lot... er.. more realistic. Not the phrase im looking for but I cant think of the one i need xD

And the flour looks too much like drops of water, but i realise flour isnt exactly the easist thing to do realistically, so ill let you off :P

As for dominoes itself, ive never had one :O lol There actually one being built near where I live but its been standing as a half converted "bank ---> pizza shop" for a while. Some old people complained theres too many takeaways along the road, theres about 3. Anyway it should be getting finished soon Then, pizza time

Now i fancy a pizza :'( Thanks :P

hah I love it! Im really hungry now haha.
That could really work well as an advert, everything fits really well. This is being REALLy picky, but as a few people have mentioned, I think the cherry on top would be having different numbers on the dominoes..but that would be more effort than I would have the patience for :P

Also maybe you could slot a dominos pizza box in somewhere? maybe next to the pizza.
Freakin awesome work mate, the rendering is excellent and the camera movements are smooth.

Thanks for the comments, y'all!

CU441ES, I had nooooo idea how to make flour so i just used a radial gradient diffuse map with some noise (which doesnt show up very well) and used that on a superspray particle system.... and i know i know... it doesnt look the best... BUT it looks enough like "flour" for you to call it "flour". Now if you woulda said "are those raindrops on the bread???" id have said " " lol

about the domino's themselves, yes, MrTom, spots on both sides does give the game away... literally.... but its too late to go back. well, its never too late, but im saying im not going to go back and change it unless Domino's is waving some money in my face. and the whole thing with the different numbers..... yea I think it may have looked cooler.... actually I dont know. the plan was to stick with the same design as the box.... but had i used different numbers on the dominos, it make have looked more interesting. who knows - good suggestions though.
