Hello there :)

i just wanna say "HELLO" to u all.
My name is Dave and i am from Bavaria/Germany.
Just 32 years young and Father of 3 Kids and 2 Cats.
I started with 3dsMax in 2000 for a short time.
Now i have restartet again and will learn much from others and by myself.

nice man,, welcome back to max ,, good picture and a great idea,, heh,, anyway,, what is the background in the scene, a HDRI map? its looking strange ,, the figures are looking a little cubic not so smoothed how they are, are u used any meshsmooth or so on it?

Yes the background is a simple Hdri reflected by the plane.
i dont used Mesh oder turbosmooth, because the bottom goes round and i dont know (now) how to avoid it. i have to learn so much

when u dont want to use meshsmooth or so, try only smoothing groups,, "edit poly" select the polys u want to smooth a little, then smoothing groups,, it should help a little
