Importing Sketchup To Max

Anybody knows how can i import a model from sketchup to 3d max in order to put materials and make a realistic render?

I googled and found this useful article on sketchup to 3ds max! Why are you using sketchup anyway if you think it sucks? I've tried the free version, it's quite limited but an interesting, intuitive way to model I think, although in terms of features the free version was rather limited. Would you mind sharing some renders of your WIP?
