firefox 2.0.0.8 issues??

I'm using mozilla firefox, everybody should, it would make the life of web designers a lot easier! Right now I'm having a strange issue with the latest version though, After updating to the latest version I can't view any sites, I just get "server could not be found" errors yet IE does work, for now I've reinstalled the previous version but of course it would be nice to have this fixed, has anybody experienced something similar?

Re: firefox 2.0.0.8 issues??

I'm viewing this with 2.0.0.8 right now.

I've gone to other sites with no problems. I would guess there's something wrong in the connections settings, but I just let it set its default settings and had no problems.

You could use a packetsniffer to monitor the traffic to and from the webserver, see where it goes wrong. Wireshark (formerly know as Ethereal) works quite good: Wireshark: The World's Most Popular Network Protocol Analyzer
