To just say "impressive" would be a gross understatement. It's superb modelling, to be sure, but the background and lighting are equally well-executed. All those things come together to make what looks more like a photo than a render. I gotta wonder, though, how long it took to sculpt that noggin?

I'm torn...

On the one hand it shows me what is possible and gives me hope for what I can achieve.

On the other hand, comparing that to my best results so far makes me want to quit!!!

Shipwright, notice how you said "... comparing that to my best results so far...". I sincerely doubt that you're at your prime, so take this picture for what it is... inspiration. Always endeavor to better yourself and you'll be surprised at what you can accomplish.

I know - looking at my work from a year ago I can see huge improvements.

But it's kninda like a long walk. It seems like you're really moving along until you get to the top of the hill and see how many hills you have left to climb!!!

Don't get me wrong, though... I'm not quitting!!!!

Well, it's good to hear you aren't quitting. I don't think geldslaw had any intention of trying to scare anyone off.

They chose her because back in the days of old when the strength of a movie was based on everyone involved being professional and talented, a movie was made with style. Not gimmicks or special effects, just natural raw talent, and Ingrid was one of the greats, I grew up watching her and she held you in your seat when you watched her in the movies.

Nowadays a lot of actresses and actors are scared to act and worst is people expect MacDonald type movies, something thats filled with the chemicals of special Efx. you'll see from the collage of images that there were many many big name actors who wanted to and needed to be in a movie with her.

She's such an hard act to follow, I hope you get some time one day to watch her movies because she is awsome

for me it'll always be her eyes they were so angelic, well that's and this is only my opinion but I hope I have shown you why to so many peopl why she is so special
