| Help me understand one thing here http://www.artpanda.co.uk/images/gallery/reptilian.jpg at first it´s a normal polygon model but then WOW he does something and it get realistic body does he use zbrush or something? :O |
| |||
| Thats an easy one ![]() He will probably have done a high poly model from the low poly (edited in max, zbrush, mudbox or whatever) and afterwards he baked out the normal map(Normal mapping - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). And afterwards he applyed the normal map to the low poly model |

| Jon uses 3ds max photoshop and zbrush, you should watch his Texturing Florpk videos in the tutorial section, but he is quite impressive with makeing the normal maps from the high res they really pop out of the geometry |
