3DS MAx 9 Articles

Currently looking at the idea of writing a review of 3DS Max 9 and reviewing the different sections of Max. A lot is covered in software specific where there are many sentiments concerning max and how we have found its specifics in use in our own projects.

The key component behind writing a review of Max and its specifics would be to investigate to elicit information that we glance over and bring it back to our attention.

Many of us have had the the pleasure of rereading a book, or an article and swearing that the information we found on looking again, was never there in the first place. Hence the expression R.T.F.M. hahahaha

I recently watched a promo video by a games development compnay that was singing the praisese of max's loop and ring connect as thoug it were a new feature but its bean available since version 6.

That version 6, seems to be where Max ascended to its ethereal legendary status and quickly aspired to v7, 8 with its many Service Packs bringing us to the much vaunted version 9 of which many say it 'aint worth moving from 8 to 9' do you agree?

I for one had only just got into bed with 8 and was little aware of of its younger sister version 7, and soon after met the salicious model of version 9 which has many promises of which I hope you will help me to assess whether she is cut out to be all that?

She looks good, feels good but has she got what it takes to take the crown and claim the throne to be the best that there is to offer? I won't be able to as yet offer any scraps of information about her 64 bit cousin as I don't drive a vehicle with enough horsepower to play her along. But hopefully as we all do I expect this year sometime soon to get that horsepower and play wit her.

So, if anyone has the 64 bit version installed I would be more than happy to talk to you and solicit your endearing experiences of its uses and differences to us mere mortals who await to climb those 64 steps to heaven. hahahaha

How would you like to see Max reviewed and what type of articles written, its really a case of me just making and having the time to research, collate and aqueeze out the juice for the best reviews tailored and customize to meet your pallate of enjoycg delicatables that I do this for you.

So comments, suggestions and questions are defiantely welcome and expected.

i couldnt move from 8 to 9 even if i really wanted to...
i wanted to try Max9... installed it... and when it was about to finalize its startup... my PC went into an instant restart... without any warning... and no matter how times i tried to run Max9, it always made my PC restart...

My review/question: Why does it do that?

it's a good start, but some of the words can be simplified a bit, although it might look quite good it will be hard to understand for people who's english isn't that good, one thing i find a bit strange that you talk about max in a 'she' form where i would expect it to be 'it' instead, be sure to compare more features that have changed, for example mental ray, arch and design shaders and so on, keep going!

Ok, I was just having fun and being, exactly just that proking, and pulling apart peoples perception of how they think of an application. It wasn't an article as such but an opening as in chess, pitched or placed in a way to allow me to gauge the style and content.

So thanks for the feedback and I'll keep the words simple. there's an expression they use in journalism 'KISS' Keep it simple stupid' lol I'm researching material and have some but would like to not put myself in a position where by I don't have anything to follow it up with.

I'm doing a few projects and preparing my pieces for admission to do a degree, the interviews are in a few weeks, so I'm juggling a lot of balls here but thats how the industry works.

thank for you the opportunity

thats a software specific question but easily answered by looking at the specifications requirements for installing version 9, does your machin meet them? Have you got all the latest windows service packs installed? there are two I believe for XP and some say 3 but I'm not so sure.
