non CG: The prestige (brilliant movie)
casino royale
black hawk down
the departed (awesome)
oceans twelve

CG: star wars saga (best movies ever made, the cg is great, the storyline is incredible and the technology is awesome)
The matrix

and finally 300, one of the best films ive ever seen, amazing special effects, and it particuarly interested me because some of the CG was done by Animal Logic here in Sydney at Fox Studios (its actually about 15min from my house ) they were the same people that made Happy Feet, so i was pretty pumped to see 300 when i heard they had worked on it.

lol haha no probs.

yeah the prestige is an awesome incredible movie, you really gotta be paying attention though, its one of those movies where you have to think a bit so make sure your in the mood for it lol,
it has a awesome twist at the end so i wont spoil it for you, IMO one of the best twists in any movie, well actually its a whole set of twists! Ive heard its similiar to the illusionist, some people who have seen both of them told me they thought they were both copies of eachother hehe, not sure if they are that much alike but they have sort of the same setting.

Illusionist is cool movie, I liked very much, oh watched 300 in cinema 2weeks ago.Story is eh, ah..ugh, ooh well.Special effects are jaw dropping.Acually movie made me wanna go to gym after almost 4 years lol Cant wait for Spiderman 3 to come out and fantastic four....
List could go oooon...but most recently these past few weeks shows i watched:

Heroes
Battlestar Galactica
Andromeda
Babylon 5 (again and again)
Farscape

Anyone have good sci-fi shows to recommend, has been some time since i have seen anything new exept Heroes, but I was thinking on galactic scale

oi geldslaw, you need to check out the movie Dead Mans Shoes... really interesting package of retaliation and one mans judgement.

Man i want to watch 300... ugh, gotta wait till it reaches to my hometown cinemas.

I dont know if you've seen it or not, but Equilibrium is awesome. My favourite... well... maybe second favourite, right after the Alien Trilogy.

lol, i have to agree with 3dnoob here, the story of '300' is rather disappointing and also quite unrealistic (but yeah, it's a film ) the fighting scenes on the other hand are awesome and so are the special effects.
