lets say i want to power more than 4 (HDDs, CD/DVD drives) in my computer but my power supply only has 4 power slots/plugs for them....is there anyway for me to hook up another PSU to use for them or would i have to get a new bigger/better PSU?

Well... if I understand you can use an external UsbBox for HD and Cd. Just put the drive into the box and plug on pc.

You should better write your computer configuration (cpu,graphics card,etc). If you have for example a 300watt PSU then you shouldn't make extra connections, because then your computer may not boot due to low power caused by many devices. As I said it depends on your config.
