I had received my letter from 3DWorld, asking me to renew my subscription, I left it on the kitchen table to think about it. Then two days later the magazine arrives, two weeks earlier than it its' release to the shops.
The question I asked myself, 'Did I really need to renew my subscription?' HELL YEAH! Last months magazine went straight onto the pile of other magazines that are a part of my on going collection. I cannot for the life of me remember anything in it that I want to go back and read.
But last night, I leaned back in my hot tub, and read every page as though it were the last issue. This was a scorcher, the feeling of why I had subscribed in the first place hit right back at me. It made me want to jump out the bath and get modeling again.
But what timing, having done a course in Adobe's Aftereffects, and being amazed that the trainer and another Aftereffects forum site trainer, both used 3DS Max gladdened my heart. There was a bigger smile when right off the bat was an awesome tutorial on rendering passes and bring them into Aftereffects to create a short commercial animation.
This months issue is so good that I thought I had just got laid when I read it, you need to subscribe and get your hands on it, Nuff said.
