| I am trying to render an architectural model using Vray, but cannot get the glass to give a realistic look to it. I would like to have some sky and clouds reflected in it, along with other elements of the model (eg, car in the driveway, trees in garden, etc) and finally, would like to be able to see the blinds behind the glass. I have had success getting 1 or 2 of the windows to show correctly, but not completely through the render. I have a sample jpg if anybody wants to see. Any help would be appreciated. ![]() |

| Check out my latest tutorial......"Applying Images To Transparent Materials"..... HERE. On the very first page of the VRay section is a screenshot of the material settings I use for Glass, they originally came from Aversis.be (which has Excellent VRay Tutorials btw) To adjust how reflective the glass is, alter the 'Reflect' colour, (black = not reflective at all, white = very reflective). I know this is common sense but make sure the glass has something to reflect, (and is lit), obvious but often overlooked. Regards. |
