*]CG Academy Particle Flow Fundamentals 5 : Practical Examples

Practical Examples concludes our Particle Flow Fundamentals series with an in depth look at nine diverse real world effects. We look at how to approach each example in the most efficient manner, how different flow topologies can be used to tackle different effect problems. How materials can be used to produce animated effects, and how animated meshes can be instanced into our flows to help in realising our compelling series of effects.

This DVD is aimed at a user with a basic knowledge of Particle Flow. It has been primarily designed as a continuation of our Particle Flow Fundamentals series, though it is also very much suitable for those of an intermediate level of Particle Flow use.

Reviews & Customer Feedback

"This set covers amlost everything you need to know to get to grips with Particle Flow, and it even delves into basic Operator scripting... the quality of content is very high, as is the quality of the Video and Audio... this is a very good introduction and breakdown of Particle Flow's features, and it's definately something for new and intermediate users to get their teeth into." 3D World Magazine Review (September 2005 edition, Page 96)

"Awesome dvds! Its great how you went through every single thing in Particle Flow. I knew a fair bit before hand but now i know everything... You da man!" James Barnes

"I'm using your DVDs as a substitute for attending specialized CG and FX schools.... I am just beginning the 5th DVD on the fundamentals of Particle Flow. There is no way I could have stomached reading all this stuff. I can't even imagine what an undertaking this must have been for you to put together. Amazingly good information and examples. ."
